My wife and I visited Antarctica in January of 2008. You might be thinking, "Geez, wasn't it freezing!" Well, actually, it's summer at that time of year in Antarctica. But, it was still about 30-35 degrees Fahrenheit. So, not exactly balmy. But warmer than Chicago in January!
I had such a wonderful time there that I was inspired to create an album of music about my experiences on Antarctica. The wonderful sights, the sounds - whether it be choruses of penguins or just the calm near the Lemaire Channel, the feelings and emotions...I've done my best to pour it all into an album. This is the first time I've created an album based on my travel experiences...and it probably won't be my last, as I've had such a blast putting the music and artwork together. As you can see, I've also set up this dedicated "site within a site" for Ticket To Antarctica. On here, you'll find music (of course), photos, Antarctica facts, and other fun stuff.
